Welcome to the 25th Annual
Alvin Pearland Livestock Show

Our Mission:

Alvin Pearland Livestock Show (APLS) was started 25 years ago with the sole purpose of benefiting, supporting, and providing opportunities for the youth of this area.  With kids on our minds, our objective was two-fold.

1.      Offer an extra opportunity for 4-H and FFA members who reside in the Alvin and Pearland Independent School Districts to exhibit their animals.  Every time a student goes into the show ring, he/she gets better and learns something.  Time spent with projects is meaningful and develops positive growth in their lives.

2.      Provide an avenue for disposing animals left over from the county fair, letting the student earn money to help with expenses, and experience the thrill of victory, along with seeing the community support their efforts through the auction.  The extra boost of the sale money helps provide a base for next year projects.

APLS continues to embrace this mission statement - it has withstood the test of time, we believe it works, and it will continue to go on…
